The Problem

Men hate shopping but still need basics like socks and underwear. Incredibly, while online shopping was booming in the early 21st century, there was no single place that offered guys all their basics in one convenient spot. More importantly, manly gear needs to be replaced regularly meaning men have to do even more shopping.

The Solution


In 2009 Ken Johnson and Andrew Draper set out to create an automated service that allowed men to shop without the hassle of shopping. Manpacks was designed to give men options; no longer do they need to buy essential apparel at brick-and-mortar stores.
